Over the years I’ve been involved with the HERO program, I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I only wished for a program like this had existed when I was growing up. Seeing coaches and teachers openly share their own childhood experiences is powerful, it builds trust, provides real-life perspective, and truly uplifts the students.
